Expect A Warm and Friendly Welcome

During your first visit at Bay Chiropractic our main focus is to establish a diagnosis for your condition then we can advise precisely the treatment required to fix your problem and hence your symptoms.

Our objective is to fix you as fast as possible and give advice (sometimes including prescribing stretching and/or strengthening exercises) that may stop your condition from reoccurring.

What Happens at Your First Appointment

Your chiropractor will take the time to understand your health history, current concerns, and any previous injuries. This is followed by a thorough physical examination to assess your spine, joints, posture, movement, and any areas of discomfort.

If you have previous scans such as X-rays or MRIs, please bring them with you. If further imaging is needed, we’ll discuss this with you and help arrange the referral.

Your First Treatment

Most patients receive treatment during their initial visit. This may include gentle chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue techniques, and supportive therapies. You may also be given simple home exercises or stretches to help ease your symptoms between visits.

Our aim is to relieve your discomfort as quickly as possible while addressing the underlying cause, not just the symptoms.

Sports Orthotic Assessment

For sports and active patients, we offer a computerised sports orthotic assessment. These orthotics are often fitted inside your shoes to help improve foot mechanics, enhance performance, and reduce the risk of injury.

How Long Your First Visit Takes

Allow around 30–40 minutes for your initial consultation and treatment.

Private Health Rebates

We accept private health insurance. Rebates may be available depending on your level of cover.
